What to Expect at Drop-Off

What to Expect at Drop-Off

Below you’ll find each step of the drop-off process. Click each section to expand for details.

▶ Arrive & Check In

When you arrive, please join the check-in line with your items. When it’s your turn, our team will check you in and confirm your information.

Do not skip check-in. Items that are not properly checked in will not scan correctly and cannot be sold.

▶ Item Review (Required for All Consignors)

After check-in, a team member will review your items to confirm they meet sale guidelines. We will ensure items are:

  • In-season
  • In good, sellable condition
  • Properly hung and correctly tagged

This step is required for all consignors, including experienced and returning consignors.

▶ Prepare for a Smooth Review

We have a limited number of rolling racks available. To help keep drop-off moving efficiently, please arrive with:

  • Clothing hung and organized in size order
  • Items easy to see and access

Being prepared helps speed up the review process for you and for those waiting behind you.

▶ Large Items

If you are consigning large items that will not fit into a shopping buggy, you must complete a Large Item Claim Tag.

Please be sure to:

  • Print the Large Item tag from the consignor portal
  • Attach the printed tag to the Large Item Claim Tag
  • Fill out the claim tag completely

Incomplete tags may delay receiving or prevent items from being sold.

▶ Placing Your Items on the Sales Floor

After your items are reviewed, we will direct you to the appropriate areas to place them. Sale sections and sizes will be clearly marked. If you are unsure where something goes, please ask a team member for help.

We have only two receiving days plus the first presale, so correct placement is critical. Items placed in the wrong section or size are much less likely to sell.

▶ Final Preparation Checklist

Before arriving, we strongly encourage you to review the Final Preparation Checklist on our website. Following this checklist helps your items sell better and ensures a faster, smoother drop-off experience.

▶ Helpful Tips for Success

  • Group like items together (for example: all Girls 5T, all Boys 10/12, etc.)
  • Women’s specialty items, designer pieces, and higher-priced small items will be grouped in a designated special area

Being organized benefits everyone—and helps maximize your sales!
